Thank You for Supporting!
2015 White Attire Affair - "It's A Family Reunion"
On behalf of the Board of Directors of Al Sura, Inc. we would like to thank you for your support and attendance of the 2015 White Attire Affair "It's A Family Affair". It was our 15th year celebrating this incredible annual event! It was a spectacular display of unity and fun as we celebrate our community and also raise funds for the Al Sura Mini-grant program.
Proceeds from the White Attire Affair event allow us to provide mini-grants to Washington, DC based organizations assisting them with their missions of Youth Mentoring, addressing Health Disparities including Diabetes, Breast/Prostate Cancer and HIV/AIDS and also tackling Social Justice issues including Racial Justice, Marriage Equality, Voter Registration and LGBT Rights.
Al Sura seeks to become a vibrant and intertwined link across Greater Washington, DC communities. But we can only do this with your help!! We ask that you please assist us by doing the following:
1. Visit our website to read and learn more about our organization
2. Make a financial contribution to Al Sura for as little as $10 by clicking on "Donate and Purchase" at the top right corner of the page.
3. Sign up to become a volunteer for our upcoming events including the annual White Attire Affair and Al Sura In Black by either clicking on "Contact Us" and providing us your information or by emailing us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org

Rock the Vote’s mission is to engage and build political power for young people in our country.
You can register by clicking on the link, ROCK THE VOTE!
About Rock the Vote:
Founded twenty-one years ago at the intersection of popular culture and politics, Rock the Vote has registered more than five million young people to vote and has become a trusted source of information for young people about registering to vote and casting a ballot. Rock the Vote uses music, popular culture, new technologies and grassroots organizing to motivate and mobilize young people in our country to participate in every election, with the goal of seizing the power of the youth vote to create political and social change.
The Millennial Generation is diverse and huge in number, making up nearly 1/4 of the entire electorate in 2012. This is both the challenge and the opportunity. Rock the Vote is dedicated to building the political power of young people by engaging them in the electoral process, urging politicians to pay attention to issues that matter to young voters, and protecting their fundamental right to vote. Our goal is to reinvigorate our country’s democracy and redefine citizenship for a generation in 2012 and beyond.
